Mission and Goals

The main aim of the Institute of Islamic Perspectives and Guidance is to bridge the increasingly wide gap between the mainstream modern, secular education and the specialized, traditional Islamic studies and scholarship. We hope to produce independent Islamic intellectuals who are at the same time working professionals contributing to the wider Pakistani society.

We expect our graduates to be active as role models in their communities, respected both for their knowledge of the Deen and for the flexibility, realism, and independence of mind with which they apply it in modern, practical world. We wish for our graduates to be psychologically and emotionally strong with sound clarity in their faith. Such individuals can be inspirational examples for the benefit of the whole society.
